Hello and Welcome Everyone!

My name is Ed Bergstrom and welcome to my very own personal finance blog. It is exciting to have created this venture and to finally get it off the ground.

I have wanted to start this blog for some time now. I have always made a decent salary and have had a long hard road to keep up in America. I worked for 16 years and ventured out to try my own business. The more sales I made the more customer service I had to do and the less time I had for sales. I filed for bankruptcy in 2001 and then put three sons through college. I have had investments go north and south. I have had 401k’s go up and down. I have been right-sized, down-sized, and laid-off. The system has been there for me and the system hasn’t been there for me. Now that I’m up in years, I’m wondering how the system is going to get me through my twilight years.

I’m tired of reading about it from someone that hasn’t struggled through what I have. That’s why their is this blog where I will be sharing my financial finds, investment tips, and savings info, retirement tips, if at all related.
